YORK, Pa.— February 14, 2023 — Westfalia Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of warehouse automation solutions, announces that John Hinchey, Vice President of Sales, has received the 2023 Rock Star of the Supply Chain award. Food Logistics recognized Hinchey for his dedication to supporting the global cold food supply chain through leveraging automation in warehouse and distribution centers.
The Rock Stars of the Supply Chain award recognizes industry leaders who promote workforce development, solve supply chain disruptions, and mitigate global cold chain risks. For the past few years, cold chain organizations have felt unprepared to navigate temperature controlled storage logistics, capacity concerns, and labor shortages. John’s cold chain initiatives have helped businesses achieve reduced operating costs, increased productivity, lowered energy consumption, and minimized time spent in harsh working conditions. During his time at Westfalia, John has helped revolutionize the cold warehouse automation industry by:

- Working with customers to tightly integrate Westfalia’s warehouse execution software, Savanna.NET®, with their existing ERP system to electronically communicate inventory needs directly to the warehouse
- Leveraging custom designed material handling systems to replenish products quickly and accurately, optimizing operations and boosting supply chain health.
