Westfalia Technologies Hires Robert Douglas as Service Manager

Leader in Warehouse Automation Elevates Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Expanded Service Resources

Westfalia's Bob Douglas, Service Manager Westfalia Technologies, Inc. (www.westfaliausa.com), a leading provider of logistics solutions for plants, warehouses and distribution centers since 1992, announced today the appointment of Robert (Bob) Douglas as service manager. From the firm’s York, Pa. headquarters, Bob will assure customers’ Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) solutions operate at optimal efficiency and Westfalia’s service and parts department has the bandwidth to support its growing customer base.

Bob brings over 30 years of management and customer service experience to the position. At Quad/Graphics, he was a member of a team that oversaw the acquisition and operation of multiple Westfalia AS/RS solutions used to optimize the sequencing and sorting of materials required in the print production process. His first-hand knowledge of Westfalia’s technologies will inform his actions as service manager, giving him the perspective to understand and assess issues with the customer’s view in mind.
