2012 - not just the end to another year for Westfalia

York, PA - December 28, 2012 - Dan Labell, president/owner of Westfalia Technologies, says goodbye to 2012 but not without the celebration of 20 years in business. Labell incorporated Westfalia Technologies Inc. in 1992 with a mission to “build long-term personal relationships with customers that create value by providing unique logistic solutions”.

And with Dan it is personal. Since 1992 Dan has dedicated himself to serving the material handling equipment industry with innovative solutions in warehouse automation. Offering primarily unit load storage solutions to a variety of industries, Westfalia has seen tremendous growth over the past 20 years.

“We honor promises that we make to our customers,” said Labell, “that is what we do, and that is why we are where we are today.”

Being the humble person he is, Labell gives credit to the company’s success to his nearly 100 employees. From the moment the idea of improving a warehouse or material handling system arises, Westfalia provides a team of reliable and innovative employees who work hand-in-hand with the client every step of the way.

“Westfalia is committed to industry excellence and it shows through our employees,” said Labell of his experienced team of sales, mechanical, electrical and software engineers. “Working closely with the customer forms a unity, which builds one of the pillars on which our basic company convictions are founded: unity means the customer gains a unique opportunity to significantly cut costs and raise customer service levels.”

Westfalia has achieved many accomplishments throughout its 20 years and 2012 was no different. Key accomplishments in 2012:

  • Celebrated 20 years of automating warehouses
  • Named Food Logistics “Top 100 Software and Technology Providers” to the food and beverage industry.
  • Honored with recognition by Central Penn Business Journal in its selection of “Top 100 Private Companies” based on revenue.

For over 35 years Westfalia has been committed to innovating and implementing logistical solutions utilizing Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and conventional material handling equipment. Our success has been shaped, to a large extent, by the satisfaction of our customers. For a personal interview with president/owner, Dan Labell, please contact scretu@westfaliausa.com.
