Satellite® System Types
AS/RS Satellite® Transport Technology
Westfalia has patented Satellite technology to transport loads in a variety of size and shapes including the following, including pallet loads, and palletless loads such as a bakery trays, rolls, and containers. More information on each is below:

Lift Satellite® key features:
- Handles various pallet types such as standard GMA, 9-block or other custom pallets
- Allows multiple length rolls to be stored in same storage lane to optimize space utilization
- Stores pallets with either long or short side leading
- Can be lengthened or shortened to accommodate non-standard unit loads
Lift Satellite® for Rolls
Lift Satellite® for Pallets
- Vertical lift variants:
- For rolls – rounded profile to engage round part of roll
- For pallets – stainless top raises pallet off support rails
- For mini-loads – front lift assembly minimizes vertical clearance requirements
Chain Satellite® key features:
- Handles various pallet types such as standard GMA, 9-block or other custom pallets
- Stores pallets with either long or short side leading
- Can be lengthened or shortened to accommodate non-standard unit loads
Chain Satellite®
Telescopic Satellite® Systems (T-Sat) key features:
- Handles various pallet types such as standard GMA, 9-block or other custom pallets
- Can provide double or triple pallet support depending on pallet weight
Telescopic Satellite®
Telescopic Forks
Key Features:
- Rapid storage and retrieval of pallets in a single or double deep rack structure.
- Implementation as a single deep or double deep warehouse, depending on range of SKU’s and throughput rates
- Technical solutions for unusual load sizes and characteristics are possible
