Unit Load AS/RS
Unit Load AS/RS operate with pallets, paper rolls, dairy cases, etc.
Westfalia offers Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) for any type of unit load. While fully compatible with any size pallet or slave pallet, our unit load systems are capable of working without pallets too. Whatever your needs, we can engineer the best solution for you.
Key Features of Unit Load AS/RS systems:
- We work with almost all size of pallets - CHEP, GMA or Euro, plastic or slave -- we can fine tune our systems to work with your custom requirements
- Automatic, semi-automatic, and manual modes
- Optional triple or quadruple pallet support depending on pallet weight
- Stores pallets with either long or short side leading
- Order processing with integrated pick-to-light and pick-to-belt systems
- Palletless systems we have developed and implemented include:
- Fluid products shipped in plastic 16 qt. +/ 24 qt. dairy cases
- Rolled goods such as paper – tissues, fine paper, base paper or special paper
