Westfalia Technologies Announces Jose Ferreyra as Quality Assurance Manager

Logistics industry veteran will champion the high quality standards of the company and its warehouse automation solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and drive ongoing improvement

York, Pa. – June 2, 2015 – Westfalia Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of logistics solutions for manufacturers, warehouses and distribution centers since 1992, has hired Jose Ferreyra as quality assurance manager. A logistics industry veteran, Ferreyra will champion the high quality standards of the company and its automation solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and drive ongoing improvement.

With more than 15 years of experience, Ferreyra is tasked with troubleshooting system issues, assisting in the development of systems designs, specifications and costing; and managing projects and job sites as needed. Ferreyra is no stranger to Westfalia and its systems – he previously spent almost 10 years with the company, serving as a project manager, VP of operations and business development manager. In between his time with Westfalia, Ferreyra worked as senior project manager for a global industrial equipment manufacturer, and as a regional commercial director for a logistics and materials handling solutions provider.

“Seeing firsthand how the industry has changed and evolved over the years allows me to bring a unique perspective to table,” Ferreyra said. “This insight will help Westfalia better serve its clients and ensure they are getting the most out of their warehouse automation systems. Additionally, I am eager to continue my efforts working in the South American market.”

Dan Labell, president, Westfalia Technologies, said, “Ensuring the quality of our warehouse automation technology, like our AS/RS, is essential for our clients to realize new operational efficiencies. With his extensive experience and familiarity with our systems, Jose is an ideal fit for the quality assurance manager position. We are glad to have him back on our team.”
